He wants to bring you home even though it looks bad, real bad. The fact is, God's not through with you even if you are through with him. He sent His Son to die to be your Redeemer. He wants you to experience grace, forgiveness, and mercy even though you've given up on you. God's Word says 1 Timothy 1:15. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. Jesus said "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." John 5:24 Trust Him even if you are in the last minute and have given up hope!
