Jesus is the Door.
Jesus is the Door.
The Shepherd and His flock
Psa 23:1, Ezekiel 34:12 "As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered."
So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep…. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. John10:9,10
The pens. Two types.. permanent one where all the sheep of the area are gathered in a stone walled pen. Each shepherd brings his own flock in near the town. And calls his own sheep each out by name. John 10: 2-6
The other sort of pen is a fenced area (usually bush or stones) more temporary, and only his own sheep there. The Lord Jesus refers to both sorts here. But then He changes the illustration. He now says He is the door. John 10:7-10
Jesus Is The Obvious Door
His Divinity and Humanity and Sacrifice at the cross make Him the Obvious door to salvation.
I am sayings. Linked to the miracles.

The Open Door

It is Necessary To Come To Him

Don't fear you aren't ready. little knowledge or little faith are OK.
Come to Him
Now "he will be saved"
Often "and will go in and out"
Trust Him "and find pasture."
